In terms of fuel efficiency, the Charger performs a little better when taking on open roads - it can get up to 31 miles per gallon on highways and 19 in cities. Mustangs can get up to 29 miles per gallon on highways and 19 in cities.

With the Charger's 65 standard and available safety and security features, such as intelligent driver and passenger front airbags and a low tire pressure indicator, it's no wonder it received a five-star overall safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
