Tinton Falls, New Jersey, is named after a famous local plantation called the Lewis Morris Tinton Manor. It has held its name since 1975. Tinton Falls is home to New Jersey's highest waterfall as well as several other natural beauties, landmarks and entertainment facilities.

Local Attractions

One of Tinton Falls' most notable landmarks is Old Mill. It was built way back in 1676 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. Be sure to bring your camera along to capture this landmark in all of its glory. It is one of the oldest standing structures around. Then head on over to the Overlook by the Falls found right by the town's famous waterfalls. Here, you'll find wildlife, hiking and biking trails and some of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world.

If you have kids or are interested in sports, Tinton Falls has a wide array of sports facilities that the whole family can enjoy. You can check out the Tinton Fall's baseball training center called Frozen Ropes. Or head on over to the Twin Brook Golf Center, a 9 hole golf course that includes a driving range as well as an 18 hole miniature golf course. There's also Liberty II Park, West Park and Borough parks within the uber popular Hockhockson Park. Here, you'll find multiple football fields, basketball courts, baseball fields and a softball field. There's also the Sycamore Recreation Complex found at West Park with half a dozen multi-purpose fields that are lit at night.

Once you are finished exercising, bring your wallet and your appetite to the Jersey Shore Premium Outlets. This is a large outdoor shopping mall that was built in 2008. It features 120 outlet shops and a food court.

4. Take a slight left onto County Rd 537 W
5. Turn left onto Five Points Road
6. Turn right onto Asbury Ave        
7. Turn right onto NJ-33 Business W / Park Ave
8. Turn left onto NJ-79 S/South St.
9. Make a U-turn at U.S. 9 S
10. Continue onto South St.
